Sweet!
February 8th, 2006Not only did I make it into law school last fall, I made it into the Honors Lawyering Program this spring. I feel like I’m finally making up for lost time.

Yates. You can right-click to save it onto your hard drive. You’ll need Windows Media Player to listen.
I got this from an old friend.

i stop working for like 4 years, start up again, take one day off and i am bored enough to do this shit. anyone need their gutters cleaned…kids watched…urine tasted? clearly i need a better way to spend my time.
1. Open up the music player on your computer.
2. Set it to play your entire music collection.
3. Hit the shuffle command.
4. Tell us the title of the next ten songs that show up (with their musicians), no matter how embarrassing. That’s right, no skipping that Carpenters tune that will totally destroy your hip credibility. It’s time for total musical honesty. Write it up in your blog or journal and link back to at least a couple of the other sites where you saw this.
5. If you get the same artist twice, you may skip the second (or third, or etc.) occurrences. You don’t have to, but since randomness could mean you end up with a list of ten song with five artists, you can if you’d like.

Turbonegro is playing the Fillmore in mid-October. That’s hot. Law school kicks ass. Every attorney I’ve spoken with says I’m crazy for actually enjoying law school. It’s hard, for sure, and there are times when I don’t feel like I understand what’s going on, but all-in-all, I’m really enjoying being here. Come on, gimme some.
I officially start classes tomorrow morning. Orientation was last week and consisted mainly of 3 days of sitting in a giant room having people talk to you about law school.
…and I wish I never left. Hawai’i that is. 10 days in Kona, 4 in Hilo. Absolutely amazing.
The Crucible is having their annual Spring Open House. We’ll be giving demonstrations, selling student (and faculty) art work. Having an audienced-juried art show, where the audience votes for the best 3 pieces of student work.
The Crucible is located at 7th & Union streets in Oakland. The Open House is running both this Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th, from Noon to 5 PM. Oh, and it’s free.
I’ve neglected this site for a while now. I’m busy being a teacher and arc welding department head at The Crucible in Oakland, as well as independent contracting and applying to several law schools.
There is plenty to explore around here, anything from my photos, to my resume, to my links. Feel free to comment away as well.
FWIW, I’m transferring a lot of crap over my the old site design. Most of it needs to go, but I don’t have the time to prune the cruft for now, so it will be lumped in with everything else.
